Ok so Mom (Becky) and I decided that we wanted to have a contest that involved you guys a little more. So we are givng everyone to wants to enter a chance to design/come up with an idea for one of our soldered pendants. If your design in choosen we will feature your design in our etsy shop Art Under Glass and you will also win a free pendant of your winning design! yay! 

So get those creative gears cranking and start submitting those designs!

This week’s theme is What’s in a Name?, in relation to our “In a Word” series of pendants.

These file formats are accepted: JPEG and PNGs. 

If you aren’t familiar with these formats go ahead a send us a text email with your word design idea at mandy@artunderglass.net

The type of design that we are looking for is very simplistic. You can use your favorite words or phrases. Be creative! We love quirky and unique ideas, remember if you win you’ll get to see your design turned into a pendant and keep it, so make something you would wear yourself! Some fun ideas could be:

song lyrics

quotes

word definition

movie/book titles

etc.

Remember that you have the front and back of these pendants to express your idea. The finished pendant size is        5/8″  x  1 1/2″  Make sure your design will fit in these dimentions. Check out our In a Word section in our etsy shop for even more examples. 

Each person can enter up to 3 different designs. 

At the end of the contest on Febuary 23rd we will review everyone’s entries and pick our favorite for the winner.

Alright I know it’s a bit early to start smothering you guys with a plethora of pink and hearts so for this contest/giveaway we decided to pick sellers with a humble love theme. But don’t worry hearts, pink and lacy confessions of love are sure to come in Febuary.

In order to enter the contest all you have to do is click on each of the Featured Artist’s shop banners below and find the specific item we decribe by our clues. After you’ve found the one treasure hunt item also choose one of your favourite items from each seller’s shop.

Do this for all four (4) shops. Once you’ve found the treasure hunt item and your personal favourite come back to this post and post the links of said items in the comment box at the bottom of the page. And that’s it!

At the end of the contest on January 30th we will compile a list of everyone who left a comment with the links and randomly draw a name from said list.

Hola! We have our first contest ready to rock and roll. After searching many seller’s shops we have finally found our favourites for our first contest here at Art Under Glass Blog. This week’s theme is dates. Yes you read right, dates. We figured that since we all have a new year and have to try and remember not to write 2008 on our checks or what have you, dates would be suiting.

Rules:

In order to enter the contest all you have to do is click on each of the Featured Artist’s shop banners below and find your favourite item with a date somewhere on it.

Example: You find a shirt you like that has a 1980 date somewhere in the shirt’s design.
