Becky Lanktree:

    Becky is the founder and creative artist behind Art Under Glass and it’s secondary shops: Tiny Trees and Under the Looking Glass. She lives in Las Vegas, NV with her supportive husband and her two adorable cocker spaniel doggies. She’s been making handmade things since she could remember. When she was about 4 years old, her mom would get craft kits in the mail every month and she would help her with them. Becky’s Mom was always making something handmade, she even sold custom knitted sweaters at one point. Her Mom mostly knit and crocheted, but always did something.     Becky has always treasured gifts handmade and loves giving and receiving them, she thinks that something handmade is so precious and much more personal. She is now lucky enough to be able to stay at home and make her beautiful jewelry for people to buy on Etsy.com. For her it is so rewarding to know that people all over the world might be wearing something she made.

1: This rare species has been known to dwell in basements with her 3 cats. She’s omnivorous, feeding mainly on Italian food and ranch flavored corn nuts. She spends her leisure time tethered to her computer, usually trying to concoct new designs for Art Under Glass customers in CS3. She also enjoys tea, reading and coming up with witty and stupid things to write on this blog. She loves you and gives you hugs.
