Ok so Mom (Becky) and I decided that we wanted to have a contest that involved you guys a little more. So we are givng everyone to wants to enter a chance to design/come up with an idea for one of our soldered pendants. If your design in choosen we will feature your design in our etsy shop Art Under Glass and you will also win a free pendant of your winning design! yay! 

So get those creative gears cranking and start submitting those designs!

Like always, the main purpo​se of these​ conte​sts​ (​twice​ a month​)​ is to featu​re other​ talen​ted artis​ts from Etsy. Not only do you get a free hand soldered pendant, you’ll also get to walk away with a warm and fuzzy feeling for supporting Etsy’s hard working and talented DIY artists and handmade community. YAY!

This week’s theme is What’s in a Name?, in relation to our “In a Word” series of pendants. 

 

Rules:

In order to enter the contest please submit your word designs to mandy@artunderglass.net

These file formats are accepted: JPEG and PNGs. 

If you aren’t familiar with these formats go ahead a send us a text email with your word design idea at mandy@artunderglass.net

The type of design that we are looking for is very simplistic. You can use your favorite words or phrases. Be creative! We love quirky and unique ideas, remember if you win you’ll get to see your design turned into a pendant and keep it, so make something you would wear yourself! Some fun ideas could be:

song lyrics

quotes

word definition

movie/book titles

etc.

Remember that you have the front and back of these pendants to express your idea. The finished pendant size is        5/8″  x  1 1/2″  Make sure your design will fit in these dimentions. Check out our In a Word section in our etsy shop for even more examples. 

Each person can enter up to 3 different designs. 

At the end of the contest on Febuary 23rd we will review everyone’s entries and pick our favorite for the winner.

So what do you win?

Well I will tell you! The winner for this contest will recieve a free silver soldered  pendant with their winning desgin on it! It will also be put up for sale in our etsy shop at artunderglass.etsy.com
